Wire Electrical Discharge Machining (Wire EDM), also known as wire cutting, is used to cut very intricate and delicate shapes in materials that would be difficult to machine by any other method.

Our wire erosion facility offers the following key benefits:

• Surface Integrity – sub 5 micron recast area
• Surface finish up to 0.2Ra
• Machining tolerances of up to 0.005mm
• No tool contact with the material – delicate sections and fragile materials can be machined without the risk of distortion
• Machining inside corners down to 0.135 radii
