About

HISTORY

Established in June of 1995. Sinco Ltd was bourn from a vision to provide a ‘one stop shop’ for end users, engineers, manufacturers & even ‘the man on the street’ alike. Our aim was to give access to a service of solutions , modifications & production methods by processes in machining, not available or achievable in the local field of precision engineering.

Our methods initially, were working side by side with customers to have the ability to supply solutions for them in engineering through Wire erosion, 3D milling, High speed machining, CAM & 4th axis milling. All of which were relatively ground breaking proccessess at the time. These were in addition to the usual manual milling, turning & grinding. – every small shop in those days started up with a bridgeport turret mill & centre lathe, or similar!

Sinco Ltd originally started up in a small, to be honest, very cramped rented unit & over the years with the help of our customer base, we have gradually grown & now self own our larger, purpose built premises, still remaining on the same site.

In-depth

Progressing through the years & in addition to the afore mentioned machining capacities , through our expansion we can now provide increased capacity in modern Wire erosion techniques, Indexable Wire erosion, Spark erosion , Small fast hole EDM drilling, CAD/CAM , larger & faster CNC milling, Machining of extremely ‘difficult to cut’ metals, CNC centre lathe turning, on & off site CNC measuring capabilities & Reverse machining.

We can produce simple 1 off components taken from a ‘back of a fag packet’ sketch, to large batch, multi machined micro precision components using intricate solid modeling drawings.

Our customer base presently range from press tools, plastic moulding tools, plastic extrusion dies, special purpose machinery, components for the aircraft industry, food-manufacturing industry, motor racing industry, agricultural industry, mining industry, nuclear industry and the engineering industry.

We can offer advice on your prototype designs to produce a more cost effective product. Our vast knowledge & experience over the years means that we have built strong working relationships with our customers in a diverse range of market sectors.

We can outsource secondary operations such as heat treatment, plating & finishing services using our long established relationship with our partners in these sectors.

We understand the importance of clear communication, knowledge, quality, competitive pricing and a reliable service to fulfill the customers requirements.
